365 Film challenge update!

Ok, I’m on a roll! It has not been easy and it’s not always inspiring. I’m a busy guy. I have two active kids, a wife that works full time, I have a part time job and a weekly DJ gig, I’ve been sick, I’ve had to clear snow, BUT I still have managed to do it. Stuffing a film frame or two on top of that has not been easy but it’s been fun.

Day 4: I used the Canon WP1 (portra NC) and shot some desolate, low saturation images of a windswept snowy parking lot.

In the middle of the 20th century major advancements were made in the ability to record and playback audio, from vinyl LPs, to reel-to-reel tape, to FM radio and better amplifier design. Doorbuster deals at Daedalusbooks.com


I just got a box of books the other week from Daedalusbooks.com some of which center around film photography, and all were crazy good deals. First up is Miami Graffiti by James Murray & Karla Murray (ISBN 9783791341620). This is a pretty cool little book of street art from Miami. Most of the work depicted is awesome, some of it resonates a little less with me. The photography of the street art is pretty good. Best thing is the price, Daedalus wants $3 for it!
