Stoned Room, old Cass Tech High School
Here’s another shot from my circa 2009 exploration of the old Cass Tech High School. They built a new state of the art facility right next to this one, but boarded this school up, contents and all. A truly surreal experience. 8 floors that felt like another world.
With this shot I was playing leading lines. The jumbled rows of desks take your eye to the black board upon which sage words are scrawled. This was a trip of the Bronica SQa and Fuji Neopan Acros. Definitely a wide shot, probably
