Las Vegas on Velvia Part 2 – Red Rock Canyon

Like I said in Part 1 – Lights!, this was shot on Velvia 100 of unknown age. Stored in a garage fridge that freezes in the winter, it aged somewhere between 5 and 15 years.

Living in Michigan is a very flat earth experience. No in the “whole earth is flat” way, but the landscape here is rather featureless compared Pennsylvania or upstate New York. Las Vegas on Velvia Part 1 – Lights!

Last year I had the opportunity to spend a couple days in Las Vegas. I’m not the gambling type, but I took the opportunity to shoot several rolls of film. With all the color and vibrance my first thoughts went straight to a roll of Velvia 100 I’d had in my fridge for years. I couldn’t tell you how old it was but I’m thinking at least 5 years old though possibly up to 14. I know I bought it fresh, just really no idea when. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
